1. Who we are

S.C. ENERGEX S.R.L., registered office at Str. 22 Decembrie, no. 119, Bacău, Romania, registered with the Trade Registry under no. J4/53/18.01.2017, Tax ID 36927491 ("ENERGEX", "we"), is the data controller for the information collected through this site.

2. What data we collect

We only collect personal data when you voluntarily fill in one of the forms on this site:

• Quote request form (home page and contact page): name, phone number, email, and the content of your message.
• Job application form (Careers page): name, phone number, email, the position you're applying for, an optional message, and the CV you attach in PDF format.

3. Cookies

We use two types of cookies/local storage on this site:

• Strictly necessary — a local record (in your browser) of the choice you make in the cookie banner (accept or decline), so we don't show the banner again on every visit. This doesn't require consent, as it's strictly necessary for the site to function.
• Analytics (optional) — if you choose "Accept" in the cookie banner, we activate Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages visited, time spent, device used). These cookies are not installed if you choose "Decline" or make no choice at all.

You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's browsing data in your browser, which will show the cookie banner again on your next visit.

4. How we use your data

Data submitted through our forms is used solely to respond to your request: to contact you about a quote request, or to evaluate your application for an open position. We don't use this data for marketing purposes and we don't sell or rent it to third parties.

5. Who else has access to your data

To receive the messages sent through our forms, we use two external providers specialized in processing web forms:

• Web3Forms — processes data submitted through the quote request form.
• Forminit (operated by UXPLUS LTD, United Kingdom) — processes the data and CV file submitted through the job application form.

These providers act as data processors on our behalf and only use the data to deliver the message to our inbox — they don't use it for any other purpose.

If you choose "Accept" in the cookie banner, we also use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) for traffic statistics, anonymized to the extent the platform allows.

6. How long we keep your data

We keep messages received through our forms for as long as necessary to respond to your request, and afterward for as long as needed for commercial or recruitment record-keeping, but no longer than 24 months from the last contact, unless a longer period is required by law. Google Analytics data is retained according to Google's own policies.

7. Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

• request access to the personal data we hold about you;
• request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
• request erasure of your data ("the right to be forgotten");
• object to the processing of your data under certain conditions, including by declining analytics cookies;
• lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), or your local data protection authority, if you believe your rights have been violated.
